This course examines the scientific principles and applied methodologies of skeletal muscle hypertrophy and physique development. Students explore the physiological mechanisms of muscle growth, resistance training variables, volume and intensity manipulation, and adaptation pathways. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based program design, body composition strategies, nutritional considerations, recovery optimization, and periodized planning for both general and physique-focused populations. Students develop competency in designing structured hypertrophy programs while evaluating the physiological, psychological, and ethical considerations associated with physique development.
