This course examines foundational and applied principles of therapeutic exercise within the continuum of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and return-to-performance models. Students explore tissue healing physiology, clinical assessment techniques, therapeutic exercise progressions, neuromotor control development, and functional reintegration strategies. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision-making, movement analysis, corrective programming, and professional scope of practice. Students develop competency in designing progressive rehabilitation programs that transition individuals from acute recovery to functional performance readiness.
